Events

Over the past 7 years the Salford Travel Partnership has organised 6 major Transport conferences which have attracted top speakers from the North West Transport scene – Managing Directors from many of the Transport providers have shared their visions for the future with delegates at the conferences.

The STP have also joined with the Salford City Council in organising the latest "Big Transport Debate" in Autumn 2009 when representatives of business, the community and transport came together to find out the demands of the travelling public and business over the next 10 years.

The Partnership will continue to ensure that the voice of the community is heard by holding such conferences and discussion events in the future. Other events the Partnership are involved with include :

Walk to school week (every April)
Walk to Work Week (every May)
Bike to work week (every June)
In Town without my car day ( 22nd September each year)
European mobility week (every September)
